Annexation brings not only additional revenue but additional issues and expenses. Annexation would require expansion of our existing police services, room they currently don’t have. If the new police station is built, the police department would be in a much better position to handle future growth seamlessly. To penalize our police department for issues out of their control is not in the best interests of our citizens or the safety of our community.
