A basic litter box (open pan) wouldn’t work for us. For one, we are tight in space. We don’t have a good location for a litter box. I do know that having one out in the open for everyone to see and smell in the living room is pretty disgusting. Second, we have two cats. And one is a huge 23 pounds. He makes a mess kicking litter out of the open box when he tries to cover his feces. Third, we have a dog. And, like most dogs, she likes to eat cat feces. Fourth, we have two children. And, we do not want them to copy the dog’s behavior. HOW BOODA DOME WORKED Size: The Booda Dome is definitely large enough to accommodate two cats using the litter box. It is BIG and ROUND. It is advertised to have a 21 inch diameter and is 21 inches high. So expect it to take up a good 4 square feet in any corner that you place it.
