Why North Liberty?
I’ve lived in the Iowa City area for years and I’ve seen North Liberty grow leaps and bounds. It’s the absolute perfect spot for what we want to do. We actually moved the catering business to North Liberty from Coralville after the Floods of 2008. The catering and deli are all in one place now which is very pleasant. New businesses are popping up constantly which is great. More mouths to feed. What are some of your favorite items on your menu? I’m proud of it all, but I love to make salad. There’s such variety and I love using fresh local produce during summer. I’m also a huge fan of soups — anytime of the year. We also get huge chicken salad requests. It’s not uncommon for us to go through 400 pounds of chicken salad in a week, with deli and catering. What are the perks of owning a business?
