Why No Sound On Computer?

0

You said when you go into sound properties everything’s greyed out so I’m assuming you have no system sounds either. Sounds like you need to download and install a driver for your soundcard. Easiest thing I could tell you to do is to go to your computer manufacturer’s website (dell.com, compaq.com, whatever) and download the sound drivers there. You’re going to look for a “Support” section on the site, and look for “Drivers & Downloads” or something like that. You’re going to need to know the exact model of your computer also. Under the drivers list go to sound and download and install the sound driver. Good luck.
