Why no FDA approval for products like Goyin?
A – The FDA has the jurisdiction to regulate GoYin and other nutritional products – but they are regulated more like foods than like drugs (which have to be pre-approved PRIOR to going onto the market). Foods and supplements, on the other hand, are permitted to go to market without FDA pre-approval because they have been in the food supply for thousands of years and are deemed to be safe to begin with.
