Why my NSOL sofware doesn work with my Celestron NexStar 130 Telescope?

Actually I have bought my first computerized telescope and in my eagerness I need to check my NSOL software with my telescope. On first instance I didn’t align my telescope with the hand remote control but instead connected the RS232 cable and immediately punch the ‘Get Scope Position’ button and it returns the RA and DEC values. It’s cool but the thing is when I have put values at RA and DEC and pressed the ‘Quick Go To’ button nothing happen or even it doesn’t make a slight movement. My question is, does my Nexstar 130 SLT is having a problem or maybe I need to fully align my telescope before getting on to this ‘Quick Go To’ but what I have understood is with the quick go to function it doesn’t matter whether your telescope has been aligned or not then it will go to that RA and DEC input values. I have emailed Celestron but no one answers. CALL THE Celestron for help!! DUHHH!!
