Why my laptop wont connect to internet even though it has a strong wireless signal?
If you have a strong signal and your Skype seems to be working, then that by itself means that you are connected to the internet. If you are using Windows Vista on your computer, either go to the list of updates that your computer has automatically installed recently without your knowledge and look for the Windows Update 3027 if I am not mistaken (if I am, it is 3026; sorry but it’s been a while since someone asked of this issue from me and I don’t have my notes right now. Have someone with the knowledge of the Windows Update settings help you configure the settings to where the computer will show you the updates available but will let you choose which one you want to download and install. This way, you will know if you are trying to accidentally install that very same update that caused the problem again.
