Why my Firenock/Lightning Nock circuit separate form the nock when it hit the target?
When one shoots Firenock/Lightning Nock into Spider web target, broad-head target, Techno Hunt screen, small game hunting, the circuit will separate from the nock after a few shots. The current design of Firenock/Lightning Nock is not meant to deal with “Dead-Stop” targets. The nock is doing all the work in holding the circuit and battery in place, thus a slow stop target is what is it designed for. Firenock/Lightning Nock’s is designed to give when extreme shock is applied to the system. The nock is replaceable and it is a lot cheaper to replace a torn nock then the expensive circuit as it may get damaged while absorbing all the shock. One can glue the circuit to the nock so it will not become an issue, for a while. With that approach, one looses the flexibility of field changeability of the nock and the battery wire will become the weakest link of the system. The fact remains, it will eventually fail if one decides to continuously use those targets. Firenock does make an accessory to
