Why my co-worker (man) always think that people are talking bad things about him?

Often times people don’t feel as comfortable around other people as you might feel, I certainly don’t, this can be a result of many things, ranging from general dislike of other people (my case) to dislike of the self (also my case), but there are endless possibilities, I have made myself SOOO uncomfortable before trying to guess what people are thinking about me, and experience shows that that will happen again. Some people experience more “negative” feelings and emotions and thoughts where as other people experience more “positive” ends of these things, I rarely mix and mingle when I have to be with people, I usually keep to myself and not bother anyone, I have been known to get aggitated with people talking to me, my advice: if the man wants to be left alone, leave him alone, if he is talking to you, be polite and nice to him, and do not ask about his behavior, that will just make things worse and make him feel uncomfortable.
