Why my 11 months baby is refusing to eat?

0

My friend’s daughter refused to eat at about the same age (she’s two now) but it was because she was teething and her teeth and gums were really sore. It didn’t last long. He could be teething. Also make sure he doesn’t have a temperature – if so take him to the doctor. As others have suggested, give him “finger food” on his own plate to feed himself with rather than baby food. Eg try chunks of cooked carrot, courgette, brussels sprouts (my son loved them!), small pieces of chicken or salmon, you can even give him chunky chips. Give him slices of banana, avocado, hard boiled egg, small pieces of bread and butter, tinned pears are also great. Try as many different foods as possible. Make faces on the plate with the different foods. Really! It makes the food more fun. Also have you tried eating at the same time he eats? Pull his high chair up to your table and eat with him. At at this age he will copy you eating. If he wants food from your plate give it to him as long as it hasn’t got sa
