Why mutations are necessary for human life.?

0

Actually mutations are necessary for human life. The theory of evolution is based on the idea that mutations occur. Basically, Darwin hypothesized that species mutate, and if the mutation is favorable then the mutation is passed on. A great example is the pepper moths in Great Britain. There were moths in britain that were the same color of the trees and were not seen by predators. When the industrial revolution occured, the trees turned black. the moths suddenly started dying. A mutation occured in a reproduction and a black moth was born. This moth survived because predators could not see it, and it passed on its genes, so the mutation became the norm. Extrapolate this idea (basically go from microevolution to macroevolution) Human beings had to evolve to become what they are now- they stood upright, their brains got bigger.
