Why must my student wait 30 minutes following allergy injections?
Because most systemic reactions that results from allergy injections occur within 30 minutes after an injection, students should remain in our allergy clinic at least 30 minutes after minutes after an injection. This is supported by the 2007 guidelines from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
