Why must Absolute Truth be based upon Divine Revelation and make Exclusivist claims?

Most, if not all, major world religions claim that our human senses are limited and that mankind cannot accurately understand the character of God and ultimate purpose of human life without God electing to reveal such knowledge to human beings. Divine Revelation confers Authority and Legitimacy to one’s beliefs. Obviously, if there is no such thing as Divine Revelation of Absolute Truth there can be no Exclusivist claims but merely individual religious opinions based upon subjective individual experiences of the supernatural. The Bible teaches that a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness (1 Corinthians 2:14).
