Why Muslim women reluctant to picture themselves without headscarf on passport, yet are ok to show pubic hair?
If a Muslim woman covers her head, then most likely she would NOT go see a male gynecologist… so it’s OK… as long as the doctor is a woman. Passport, in other hand, everyone, in this case, non relative males, could see them. Have you ever wondered why they’re insisting on their customs when they live in a non-Muslim nation, when most Muslim nations expect the foreigners to follow their customs in their countries? Sudanese government jailed the British school teacher for letting her class name a teddy bear a Mohamed, until it went public. Saudi government is punishing a rape victim because she was with a man who wasn’t her relative. I know I can’t walk around the mall in Saudi Arabia without wearing a hijab. So… since they live in a non-Muslim nation, they should take the photo for their passports and/or driver’s license. If a male law enforcement officer asks for the passport (or any ID), then ask for a female officer.
