Why might another news server have a larger newsgroup list?
The fact is, there are probably in excess of 100,000 newsgroups floating across 20,000+ news servers that exist on the Internet. In many cases, these additional groups are obsolete, bogus, empty, spam traps, redundant, or local groups that are not propagated by a particular new server Newsgroup-Binaries.com list is updated on a daily basis, and new groups are routinely added either automatically via request through Usenet, or by the server administrators.
