Why might a 2001 Kia Sportage not start?
My 2001 Sportage also did not start. I tried everything and finally paid $80 to have a garage put it on a computer. They told me the ECM (electronic control module – THE BRAIN) was bad. They also told me that part is covered under warranty by some Federal thing and Kia replaced it FREE OF CHARGE! They also paid for the towing of the vehicle to the dealership. The car is 5 yrs. old and they still covered it.
