I can tell you that they are very expensive here in Italy too! Of course quality’s better and you pay the shipping from Italy to US. But I think that when you buy italian clothes you pay the label (D&G, Armani…). But italian fashion designers are appreciated all around the world because of their creations, so I think that “Made in Italy” will sell forever.
