Why meal replacement supplements?
Preparing a balanced meal with plenty of protein and enough carbohydrates takes time. Meal replacement supplements (MRS) are basically designed to replace some meals with a balance of protein and carbohydrates. Taking meal replacement supplements mean that bodybuilders can get the nutrition and muscle building proteins they need without putting on too much excess weight. These supplements either come in protein powder or protein bar form so while the former is generally cheaper, the latter is more convenient since there is no preparation involved.
