Why marriages or marriage linked rituals are not conducted in Aadi / Aashada?
Though so many important festivals are celebrated in this month, this month is considered inauspicious. Marriages are avoided; even small rituals linking to marriages are avoided. Even the newly married bride is brought back to her mother’s place during this month as elders consider this month to be inauspicious even for conceiving a child ………………….
