0

The Criminal Justice degree is most often referred to as a “transfer” degree. The reason being that this degree contains all of the course work needed to transfer to San Diego State University as a “Junior”. The key TRANSFER courses being: AJ111 Administration of Justice Poly Sci 102 Soc 101 Soc 110 Statistics (Math119 or Psyc270 or Soc201) These courses along with the general education requirements and the other courses listed above enable a student to receive a (Associates in Arts) degree at SWC while transferring to SDSU. Students who meet the minimum requirements at SDSU can transfer straight to SDSU. This works for those who want to take an Associates degree before moving on to a four year college. [You should get advice from Counseling or the AoJ staff on this decision.
