Why Maintenance Contracts?
We are often asked the question ‘Why should I go for a maintenance contract, why not just have ad hoc callouts. The reasons are as follows: Maintenance contracts have guaranteed response times. With a maintenance contract PLC will allocate 1-2 engineers to your network so you will get to know the engineer associated with your network. PLC will perform ‘service’ checks for maintenance contract customers such as: Server Checks – to pre empt problems before they occur. Security Checks – to highlight any security issues. Disaster Recovery Checks – to highlight any deficiencies in the data back up and recovery program. Ad hoc call outs can be used instead of maintenance contracts to good effect, but the question that you have to ask is ‘How important is your IT network to your business?’ In addition very small businesses can use the services from our ‘Home’ division using our ‘Workshop Repairs’ and ‘Home Callouts’ if required.
