Why Maintain a Good Relationship?
There would be no reason to strive to maintain a good relationship with God unless there were benefits to be derived from this relationship. However, there are awesome eternal benefits that are offered through a good relationship with the Sovereign God (God the Father) and the Creator God (Jesus Christ). “But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God [the Father] has prepared for them that love him” (1.Cor.2:9 KJV). Any child of God the Father who cannot maintain a harmonious relationship with God the Father, and Jesus Christ cannot continue to benefit from the father-son relationship in the present or in the future. Therefore, it is extremely important for a child of God to know and understand how to establish and maintain a good and harmonious relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ.
