Why lucid interval more common in epidural haematoma?
Just a guess – an epidural hematoma can develop from a skull fracture that directly causes very little injury to the brain. A very hard object can fracture the skull without knocking a person unconscious if the force is concentrated in a very small area. With an epidural hematoma, the brain injury can be a secondary result of bleeding rather than an effect of the impact. All of the other injuries are primary brain injuries.
