Why lent is important to Catholics?
Lent is important because Christians believe that this is the time when the Christ rose from the dead. Basically, he fulfilled his mission that he came to Earth in human form for. He suffered and died on the cross and by his sacrifice, the gateway to heaven was open for the already dead and the alive people. This means that people will come back to life in spiritual form after they die.
