Why lease instead of selling the EEM units?
(A) The answer involves several reasons, one is that a lease will allow more homeowners and businesses to get into this solution because it takes less money, second there is the legal responsibility we cover in providing the 100% warranty so we really do not want lease holders to be involved, and third our business strategy is to build such high quality units going out the door that we believe they will last 25 to 50 years with little maintenance costs so it just makes sense for us to be involved in a series of fixed ten year leases. It is called residual income.
