In India, even the highly qualified doctors do not know much about it and are unaware of the possibilities in Laser Medicine. The Indian system of medicine is largely based on British or American system and therefore Laser Medicine had been totally ignored in India till this decade. This science largely comes from Russia and few other eastern block countries. Even UK and USA are quite late to embark on Laser Medicine. The author is pioneer of Laser Medicine in India.
