Why kinematics does not stress on the cause?
Understanding natural phenomena in its totality becomes almost impossible due to the complexities involved. So, we try to understand specific aspects of Nature by studying each aspect in depth with the hope that knowledge gained by these studies will ultimately help us to understand Nature in its totality. Study of each specific aspect has been considered as a branch of Science and each is given a specific name. As you may know, kinematics is concerned with the phenomena of motion without reference to mass or force. It deals with motion from the standpoint of measurement and precise description while dynamics is concerned with the causes or laws of motion.
