Why jorge bush is still the American president?

0

George Bush, is still president, because of a peculiar twist in American Law. Presidents are never actually asked to officially relinquish their offices. So any living US President, is actually still a President. The only exception to this is Richard Nixon, because he resigned from Office. So George Bush is still President, as is his son George W. Bush. Every once in a while, the fact that Presidents actually never quit being Presidents in the US, is covered briefly in either the news, or in one or the other Houses of the US Congress, and although a few times a bill has been introduced to create an official ceremony to strip the outgoing President of all powers, the bills have never actually gotten anywhere and are always quashed. Guess the People of the USofA like the thought that their Presidents never officially quit.
