Why it is a cultural thing that people in France strike?
The word “cultural” is a gross exageration. But, alas, strikes in France are “universal”. Everybody goes on strike, from judges, to lawyers, to doctors, to students, to illegal aliens! Curiously, the French government does nothing to discourage these sorts of events, understandably so : while the strikers march yelling and banging on their pots and pans, the representatives vote swiftly controversial laws at the Assembly.
