Why isn violence in video games good?
Some would argue that it promotes violence in society; people see it in the game and think, “hey, it’s okay for these guys to do it, so it must okay for us too”; so they go out and the crime stats go up. Others say it is fine (not necessarily good, but fine) because it allows us a way to express those feelings and act in ways we are otherwise forbidden to do, and that it is only people looking for an excuse that say violence is encouraged by videogames.
