Kent, son of men’s basketball coach Ernie Kent, will play in the Jan. 17 Las Vegas All-American Classic. In his two seasons of football at Oregon — the first time he had played the sport in his life — Kent had 47 receptions for 605 yards and five touchdowns. Kent averaged 3.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in 81 basketball games for the Ducks.
