Some artists have painted Him smiling. It is what the artist thinks represents Jesus. Some do Jesus an injustice. Jesus isn’t confined to art representations of Him.

Fact: There are pictures of Him smiling, I have seen them… Statues, I don’t know about but I imagine there are. Statues tend to be more inclined to more subdued, reflective purposes in Christianity for some reason I think. Although, I imgaine if you wandered into enough Catholic buildings and churches with all of their statues I can’t imagine you wouldn’t find one soon enough…
