Why isn there an approved status category?
We have chosen not to differentiate between proposed and approved buildings/projects because when a project is approved by government, it is still essentially a proposed project and does not necessarily have a better chance of being built. It is still a proposed project until constuction begins. There may also be several levels of government which must approve a project, making it difficult to know when all levels have given approval.
