Why isnt there a toggle button to ignore whitespace changes?
I would like to be able to easily switch between ignoring and showing whitespace changes. Often times I need to review some changes I have made to a file. First I review the actual code changes. Afterwards I do need to check if I also did some whitespace changes before I can go ahead and commit. More importantly I often first want to merge whitespace changes first. So ideally there would also be a button to only show whitespace changes.
