Why isn’t the Super Brightening 4X Laundry Liquid ‘GECA’ accredited?

A. The International Standard ISO14024 has determined that an ingredient referred to as ‘Optical Brightening Agents’ OBA (see below for further explanation) do not meet the strict guidelines for use. Unfortunately nearly all Laundry Liquids (and Powders) contain these agents to help make whites look ‘whiter’ or less yellow to the naked eye. We decided to give our customers the choice – if you want the accredited version, use our ‘Sensitive Skin’ variant, as it does not have any OBA’s in it. These OBA’s are really only effective on Whites, so only use the ‘Super Brightening’ variant on your ‘white’ loads.
