Why isn the Short Stick available in stainless for the aftermarket Hurst?
I used to carry the Short Sticks in stainless for the aftermarket Hurst at one time, however, when the machine shop made the large bend that is required, they had to heat the stainless rod in order to make the bend as stainless is very strong and hard to bend. When they do this, it scuffs and discolors part of the rod around the bend area. I would clean this up as best I could with Scotch-Brite pads and steel polish but it was hard to get completely out and did not look “perfect” as I like so I discontinued them in stainless.
