Why isn the Rescue Stick Coast Guard approved?
The Rescue Stick’s innovative foam-free design means it can not be approved as a Type IV inherently buoyant (primarily foam) throwable flotation device. The Rescue Stick uses inflatable technology to provide almost twice the buoyancy of most throw cushions and ring buoys, and can be thrown up to three times as far to drastically outperform other throwable devices.
