Why isnt the JGAA Boys Golf Club open to girls?

The BGC was started in part because of the success of a similar junior golf program specifically for girls called the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf. Boys and girls ages 6-18 now have an equal opportunity to play in fun, non-threatening golf events.
