Why isn the group selection dialog displayed any longer in WinCC V6.2 and higher?
Description: When using SIMATIC Logon, if a user is assigned to multiple Windows groups that are configured in the WinCC User Administrator, the following behavior results. • Up to WinCC V6.2: After successful authentication in WinCC Runtime, a dialog box opens in which you must select a user group. Depending on the group selected, the user receives the associated permissions. Fig. 01 • From WinCC V6.2 onwards: It is no longer necessary to select the group after logon. The logged-on users receive the permissions for all the user groups they are in. Refer also to the WinCC to SIMATIC Logon compatibility list.
