Why isn the geocentric solar system theory taught in schools?
It is. The work of Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler and Newton provided evidence that the theory was wrong, but its helpful to learn what people believed before them to understand the triumph that scientific thought achieved. Apparently, one American in five believes that the sun moves around the Earth! Makes me glad to be British.
