Why isn the Garment Worker Center a Member Organization?

At the conclusion of the strategic planning processs, the Garment Worker Center (GWC) made the decision to transition from its role as a member organization to become an ally organization for capacity reasons. GWC will explore re-joining as a member organization in the future and continues to support the work of MIWON. All of the remaining organizations wish to recognize and honor the innovative thinking and substantial contributions that GWC has made to MIWON over the years and look forward to ongoing collaboration with GWC.
