Why isn the current weather icon updating by its self according to the METAR station?

Make sure that under the list of METAR stations that “use this METAR for local sky conditions (and weather underground)” is checked. Also make sure that the box next to that has the name of the METAR station that you want to be displayed. Example KEWR.
