Why isn the comic funny anymore?
Goblins is a comic that bounces back and forth between comedy and serious drama/action. Because the creation of a webcomic is such a slow one, it can seem like I’ve given up on ever trying to make the readers laugh again, simply because I’ve been drawing serious stuff for months. But the comedy will always return just as the drama/action will always be ready to interupt the gags. It just takes awhile sometimes. In the beginning of the comic, I found comedy to be a great way to set scenes and introduce characters. That is why there were more attempts at humour early on.
