While Tagalog may be the ‘national’ language, it really is NOT a UNIVERSAL language for the country. English is. Therefore when the Philippines decided to open their own Yahoo Answers, they chose that as their base language for the site. There also does not seem to be much call for it on the Philippines site itself. I checked out the Forum there and found only about 4 references to it, all over a year old, most around 2 years old. http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?pro… But the Forum on the Philippines site is where such a suggestion should be made.
