Why isn my Sims 2 custom content working?
Hi, it sounds like you havent got the correct mesh for the things you downloaded. The custom content comprises of two things, the design part, that is the picture, and the mesh which is what gives the object its shape. If you dont download the mesh or download something which requires a mesh from an official expansion pack which you dont have, then the custom content will show up as a default picture (this is why you see multiple copies of the same straight black hair, or in clothes will see the same outfit over and over.) I would go back to where you downloaded it from and check that you downloaded the required mesh ( most download sites tell you if mesh is included or where to go to get it) or that you have the required expansion packs for the downloads.
