Why isn my new badge/playcount/view showing up?
Just like YouTube we do a lot of what’s called caching. Generally if something doesn’t change immediately it will within a matter of hours and should have done so within 24 hours maximum. This is to ensure the site stays speedy and usable. As you can imagine there are a lot of little things that need updating on pages throughout the day and at every visit. This can massively slow down the site if we don’t save some of it for later.
