Why isnt my DeLorme Earthmate GPS receiver connecting to IntelliGolf?
Generally, when the DeLorme Earthmate GPS receiver is not connecting with IntelliGolf, but is connecting with the DeLorme Street Atlas software, it is because the Street Atlas settings need to be changed to NMEA compliant. The Street Atlas software can use either DeLormes proprietary communications protocol or the NMEA industry standard protocol. In the Street Atlas software, go to Settings, GPS, and select NMEA 0183. Now all NMEA compliant applications should be able to communicate with your Earthmate GPS receiver, including IntelliGolf. Tip: If your GPS receiver is connected to your handheld via a serial connection, set the Baud Rate to 4,800. Tip: If you want to wirelessly connect your Earthmate GPS receiver to your handheld via Bluetooth, please make sure that your handheld supports Bluetooth, that you have a Bluetooth-enabled GPS receiver, and that Bluetooth communications are turned on in your handheld (see your handheld manual for details).
