Why isn meta discussion permitted on the list?
Meta discussion is a conversation about the conversation, such as comments about the tone or intention of other subscribers, comments on the tone or feel of the list, or the supportiveness of the environment. This type of discussion is banned because it inevitably leads to misunderstandings and flame wars, and undermines the supportive nature of the list.
