Why isn Job mentioned in Heb 11, the “faith” chapter?
A. Because God used Job as an example of righteousness and patience. Job 1:1; 2:3 serve as definitions of the characteristics of a righteous man. In Eze 14:14,20 Job is linked to Daniel and Noah as examples of righteousness. His patience is referenced in Jas 5:11. All of this makes Job our O.T. type for the righteous saints which will be chosen to experience tribulation in the endtimes Rev 9:1-6;13:10.
