Why isn Grunge on the list of music genres and artist?
Because for many people it is still not a music genre.. even for the pioneer bands like The Melvins. In fact is more like a Culture where bands and followers share many ideals and lifestyles (crude and raw lyrics, with dark humor and sarcasm, disatisfaction with the injustice of society and apathy for the mainstream scene). I personally believe it is a music genre, because of the common charactheristics in lyrics content and guitar distortions fusing lowered trash metal with punk. It’s the coolest, most unique, most creative, most honest form of music I’ve ever heard. Rock on!!
